Date and Time Zones

Show the time, the date or an analog clock in a multizone layout.

What you’ll need

• A multizone layout open in the editor. See Multizone Layouts.

Steps

1. Under Add a zone, click Date / Time. Drag the new zone into place and resize it.

   

2. Choose a Date / time format in Zone properties:

   • Just the time and Short time.
   • With long date and With short date: the date and the time.
   • Long date only and Short date only, month first (MDY, such as 10/31/2026) or day first (DMY, such as 31/10/2026).
   • Analog 1 to Analog 12: clock faces.

   For the text formats, set the Text color, Font size, Font and Text alignment.

   

3. For an analog clock, choose one of the Analog formats and make the zone square so the clock face is not cut off. Click Save layout.

   

4. Your screen shows the date and time from the player itself (your Roku, Fire TV or other device). If the time is wrong, check the time zone in the player’s own settings. The date-only formats need an up-to-date Quickesign app on the player.
